INDURA’s First ESG Report
We have chosen to document where we actually stand. Not where we would like to be. The report covers 2025 and provides an in-depth look at our efforts in the areas of the environment, people, and responsible operations.

Environment
Since 2020, we have reduced our direct CO₂ emissions by 70%. We have achieved this by switching to green electricity, phasing out natural gas, and electrifying our vehicle fleet. We are a signatory to the Science Based Targets initiative and have set targets for 2030. Our core products are documented with EPDs, so our customers can see the exact CO₂ footprint and use that information further.
Social
69 people show up every day and make INDURA what it is. 8.3 out of 10 employees would recommend us as a place to work, and 8.5 out of 10 find their work meaningful. We invest in professional development, a safe work environment, and a sense of community that extends beyond working hours.
Governance
ESG responsibility is formally embedded in our organization. We are certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, both of which passed external audits in 2026. And we travel in person to our suppliers in China to ensure that our standards for quality and responsibility do not stop at our own warehouse.
Strong Connections
The steel trading industry is undergoing a fundamental shift. Regulatory pressure from CBAM, increasing sustainability requirements from customers and the growing demand for documented product data are changing what it means to be a reliable supplier. It is no longer enough to deliver the right product at the right price. You also need to document where it comes from, how it was produced and what its environmental footprint is.
At INDURA, we have chosen to get ahead of this shift rather than react to it. This report shows where we stand today. Not where we wish we were, but where we actually are.
I am proud of what we have achieved. A 70 percent reduction in our direct emissions. ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certifications. Environmental Product Declarations across our core product range. And a team of 69 people who show up every day and contribute to making INDURA a better company.
We have more work to do, particularly on Scope 3 and supplier transparency. But we are committed to doing it openly and systematically.
Strong connections are not just about our products. They are about the trust we build with our customers, our partners and the communities we are part of.
