CBAM

What does it mean for you as a customer?

New EU regulations impact the import of steel and metal components

CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism) is a new climate regulation from the EU that affects the import of CO₂-intensive goods such as steel, aluminium, and iron. This also applies to our products at INDURA.

As of October 2023, reporting is already mandatory, and from 2026, payments for emissions will be introduced. This affects both us as an importer and you as a customer.

How does CBAM affect you?

CBAM will change the way imported steel and metals must be declared and handled:

- You will need to document the carbon footprint of the products you purchase
- Changes in prices and delivery terms can be expected
- You will require transparency and data from your supplier

INDURA is taking proactive steps to ensure you can continue to trade legally, efficiently, and responsibly.

What is INDURA doing?
