Truck drivers plan blockade against upcoming road tolls in Denmark

Attention: Several thousand truck drivers have planned a blockade of parts of the Danish road network on Monday, May 15th, in protest against an upcoming road toll. In urgent cases, we recommend that our customers order goods for dispatch already this week.

Several thousand truck drivers have planned a blockade of parts of the Danish road network on May 15th in protest against an upcoming road toll. This toll will take effect on January 1st, 2025 and will require trucks to pay a toll based on the distance they drive in Denmark. The toll will be differentiated based on the trucks' CO2 emissions and will apply to both Danish and foreign trucks. It is unknown how extensive the blockade will be or if it will last for several days. Therefore, pick-ups and deliveries cannot be guaranteed on Monday, May 15th, and we encourage you to take this into consideration in your planning.
